Born from a passion for good food and a love for beautiful things.
Grew up in the hospitality industry.
Father owned successful cafés, mother ran lunchrooms in The Hague. After attending hotel school, the passion for cooking emerged. Worked as a chef in various kitchens, from cafés to Michelin-starred restaurants. Then moved 'up' to a large organization, De Bijenkorf, where many years were spent managing the restaurants.
Being his own boss and pampering people is now his greatest passion.
From a young age, worked in international exhibition stand construction. Design, manufacturing, and assembly with great service. Extensive travel has provided a broad perspective on materials, styles, and design. This helps in staying innovative at the beach. Finds great joy in watersports on our amazing North Sea.
His passion lies in surprising guests through all their senses.
